seen this for USBC Open practice?
« on: March 11, 2008, 07:09:12 AM »
I received this and thought I would pass it along. Notice that they talk about the strategy of "attacking and breaking down the pattern"....

In addition, a USBC Open team practice session will also be available at Holiday Bowl. The USBC is allowing teams to bowl on a pair of lanes dressed with the USBC Open lane condition for this 1 hour practice session. The lane condition will be run fresh for each session to simulate the condition that you will be facing at the Convention Center. This is a great opportunity for teams to decide on what equipment and surface to start with as well as the most effective ways to play and break down the pattern. Storm instructor Mike Jasnau will be available during the team practice session to give suggestions and advice. The cost for this team practice session will be $150, just $30 per person.

i also received this email from storm concerning practicing the usbc open shot and breaking down the lanes.i read all the views on the subject and see nothing wrong with it.especially when it's the high rollers who mostly are doing it.now i'm sure there are some teams doing it in the other division also but you have to have the skill to bowl like that.
