Title: BBE - lost equipment
Post by: Debina on May 19, 2007, 06:18:52 AM
I was pleased to hear from a friend today that the policy for lost equipment when shipping through BBE is a good one.  My friend showed up to bowl the women's championship in Charlotte, and five of their team's bowling balls were lost.  The tournament officials had new balls (bowler's choice) drilled for all of them for free.  And, they moved them to a later squad so they wouldn't be rushed getting the new equipment ready for bowling.  The original equipment showed up back home, so the three affected bowlers now have new equipment, courtesy of USBC, and their old favorites.

Good response on the part of the USBC, in my view.

I used BBE for my first time shipping and they were great in my opinion. The charge on the Internet was less than what they had and they adjusted the fees to the smaller. The guys were very nice and helpful. I am not big on paying over $100 to ship, but would recommend their service to anyone.
