You can only bowl in each event one time.

There is no open bowling at the lanes used for the ABC.  Usually when the ABC is at a city other than Reno, it is on lanes that are built just for the tournament in a convention center, so there is no open bowling there at all.  In the years the ABC is held at Reno, it is at the National Bowling Stadium and as far as I know, there is no open bowling in the stadium (tournaments only).

In past years Storm (or Brunswick) had been running a small tournament on 12 or so lanes adjacent and in the same building, but I don't know if they are doing that in Reno. The lanes will be the same, but usually the Storm tourney has more (read significant) oil, so the pattern woun't be the same.

Many local houses int he same town as the ABC will often offer open bowling using the exact same oil pattern, but since the lane surface is rarely the same as the ABC lanes, they will play differently. But at least they allow you to warm up, get a bowling "feel" and rhythm after the car or plane trip to Reno.
