Doesn't she work for USBC? She is currently in 4th place for doubles. I thought those guys weren't eligible for the Open this year.

USBC is clueless if they think this isn't going to be an issue for a lot of bowlers at the Open.

By a lot do you mean...like...12?  I can't imagine there being any real controversy over this at all.

Without having to state the obvious, a 52 year old bowler with a 250 rev rate and moderate to slow speed has got other bowlers shook.

I love it.

Missed the point entirely. But I supposed you can out bowl her, right?

It's the idea that she(and others in the same situation) probably have seen the pattern used.

It just looks bad, have you never met bowlers?

It takes nothing to upset bowlers. It's more of an appearance thing than anything else.

Point was not missed.  I'm just razzing you and others who in the theoretical "throw more ball" than her.  (Insert troll pic here).

To be honest, I don't care about the optics.  There's a good chance by the end of the tournament, her and her partner's score won't even be top 10 - and there will only be a few, who will care at that point.  You may be one of them.

CDB is better than all of us, period. If she works for USBC, she's better. If she doesn't, she's better. If she uses Storm or Radical or Visionary, she's better. She will run you the f over on almost anything.

Just repeat "I never stood a chance anyways"

Personally, I couldn't care less that they're allowed to bowl and cash. They're better bowlers than I am, so they should finish ahead of me and make more money than I do in this event. I don't even like the fact that they don't allow their regular employees to cash anymore. If I were still working there, I doubt I'd even bowl it unless they paid my expenses because even though my yearly trip is mostly a financial loss, I like the idea of at least having a slim chance to win a few bucks back.

This is a defeatist/loser attitude.  The realist in me knows CDB is awesome and will beat me more often than not - however, I know I have a chance greater than "never" of beating her or anyone else.

Well, I know I bowl better when I don't have my panties crammed up my crack.

You could always go commando when bowling against the elite.  Or you could just live life to the fullest and always go commando.  It's your call.  Good luck and good bowling.

I also think they should be able to bowl. Where I have a problem is with USBC telling us one thing, then doing another. It gives the idiots who are always harping on USBC one more thing to bitch about.

True, Milo, but we all know that the Morpheus' of the world never NEEDED ammunition anyway; they just make up new reasons to hate and bash the company anyway! I see what you're getting at, but I think they've made the distinction clear enough in this case. If you work at Bowling HQ as a full-time USBC employee or work on-site at the tournament, you can't cash. If you just do some sporadic work for them a few times a year, you're okay.

I'm just here to provide a different perspective from the people like yourself and Milo that blindly accept all things USBC and kiss Chad Murphy's behind.

By the way, membership declined again this year...well done USBC.

Just wondering, do you even bowl?

I ask because the second biggest critic(of which I am aware) of USBC doesn't even bowl, but is constantly bitching about what they do.

I think this is a mischaracterization.  MANY of us have offered fair criticism and opinions on the USBC.  To characterize the stances of many members here as above is unfair.  It really is.
