Congratulations Steve Vance, TWOHAND834
« on: February 22, 2010, 11:04:07 PM »
Has anyone else read the article on bowl.com about Steve?

I don't have a link to the story, but he has quite a good write up about his tournament results.

I appreciate the shout out.  I always enjoy shooting a good number out there.  But, just once, I would like to do it during team event.  It would be nice to actually help out my teammates.  For those that want to know, I used a 9 year old Green Gargoyle and was playing 22-24 at the arrows and out to the second range finder down lane as a breakpoint.  Thanks again!!!

I tried to find it as well, and couldn't.  I did see you were leading all events though for a minute, that's awesome.  Good bowling!

Steve,
We always happy to hear news like this. I know your score didn't hold up for long, but I am sure it was thrilling to be on top for a while.

Dan, thanks for the link. I had read the story the night before but could not find it again.

Thanks again everyone for the kind words.  It is almost unexplainable on why the Singles Event is my best event by far.  Just wish I could put together a good Team Event to go with it.

This year I blame it on the left lane.  Struck every shot on the right lane for 181.  The midlane completely went away on me the last game on the left side.  I started decent with 211 and 206, which I was happy with because it gave me a chance to shoot a low to mid 600, which was my goal.

Every year is a different learning experience.  So, I need to take what I learned from this year and apply it to next year especially since it is back at the Stadium.
