Title: dress code in reno
Post by: thewhiz on June 03, 2016, 05:16:13 PM
Exactly what is the dress code for reno.  Shorts or pants?  Only pants during doubles singles and team?  I have never been there

I wore slacks and a polo for it all.  I do believe jeans are fine in s/d, in team I'm not positive.

6. DRESS CODE
Entrants are expected to wear suitable attire.
The dress code will be interpreted by designated tournament staff members. They
will make judgment calls relative to dress code questions or concerns, while any
questionable items, special circumstances or medical exemptions will be addressed
by the Manager on Duty.

Men and women participants must wear a shirt and casual slacks, trousers or jeans.
Traditional collared shirts, mock-collared shirts and collarless bowling jerseys are all
permitted.

Women may wear Capri pants provided the length is below the knees.
Female participants can also wear skirts, culottes or skorts.
Examples of prohibited attire include, but are not limited to: shorts, t-shirts, hats,
tank tops, halter tops, bare midriffs, spaghetti strap tops, and sweat pants.

Jeans are fine in team, you just can't win the "Spirit" award if you are wearing jeans.  Spirit award is a pin given to teams who wear matching shirts and slacks.  Jeans disqualifies you from the award.
