The flu vaccine has been around since the 1930s and yet we say and do nothing when 35 million people are getting the flu every year.  The only reason we freak out over COVID is simply because it is new and there was not a vaccine.  And now that there is, people still freak out.  People need to stop and relax a bit.  Thousands of people every single day go out in to public and even to work with flu/cold symptoms. They touch door handles and even shake hands with other people. 

How many of us when we get the flu or a sinus infection during peak season do we lay around blaming other people?  Last I checked it is our own responsibility to wash our hands, change out air filters, and take other precautions.  If you want to wear a mask then wear one.  If you dont, then dont.  But if after 17 months and millions of people vaccinated you are still that scared of getting it, then stay home because crying about it doesnt solve anything.  Live free, take care of yourself and your loved ones, and BE HAPPY!!!!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.....Seriously man.  I figured instead of arguing over it why not take a different approach?  Arguing over COVID is almost as bad as arguing if CGs matter at this point.  A year ago it was worth discussing because it was something we had never seen or dealt with before.  But now we are approaching 18 months with this.  The one thing we all need now is normalcy and some freedom back in our lives.  As someone else mentioned....this is never going away now.  So we might as well live with it in the same manner we live with the flu and other illnesses.  Yes, some are worse than others.  But if we are not freaking out over the flu, then why now freak out over COVID?  We have learned key adjustments we can take to live with it.  Now it is time for "We the People" to make our own decisions and get back to being happy with our lives. 

People make a mockery of Florida (where I currently reside).  But the result of all this and our Governor, we are thriving once again and roughly 400,000 people have moved here from other states just in the last year.  Housing market is absolutely nuts down here and apartment/condo development (at least in my county) is off the charts.  County Commissioner had to put a stop to it because so much was going up and he wants to reserve land for corporate development/expansion and preservation.  Almost half the state is vaccinated and the rate of positive cases is at its lowest in quite some time.  In fact, most of the positive cases are more inner city and downtown areas (Hillsborough County in Tampa and Broward County near Miami).  You go out in to public areas and for the most part everyone is courteous and pleasant to be around with the exception of a few people still crying about the issue of people not wearing masks.  Heck, even alligators are seen at Wendys now (They hungry too!)🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Interest observation this weekend. Watched college softball regional tournaments off and on and who would have thunk it, no one was wearing a mask. The stands were full at Rhodes Stadium in Tuscaloosa and not a mask to be seen anywhere and no physical distancing.

Oh the horror....


Just a follow-up, no dead bodies in the stand afterwards. Must have been a conservative crowd.
