Vegas and Baton Rouge are great sites.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I hate Nevada. No easy way in or out, except Vegas.

I'm not a Baton Rouge fan, even though I've done well there.

I believe 2022 is still an open date.  Part of the new deal they made with Reno was to move that date to another city TBD.

Phoneman that is my understanding as well.

Last years turnout showed some Reno fatigue. They are supposed to go back every three years.

I've pretty well succumbed to Reno fatigue.  Didn't go last year and won't go again for the near future.  Broke a string of 20 straight tournaments.  Just don't want to do Reno anymore.

Been to Syracuse.  May go back because I have some east coast friends who used to be regular participants who won't go if the tournament is west of the Mississippi.  Syracuse itself is a dump, but the surrounding countryside is very interesting.

I'm looking forward to the Las Vegas tournaments. I have a blast doing the Senior Masters and Senior US Open in Vegas. Because there is so much else to do, there isn't a better place to attend major tournaments.

Reno is Reno, so I'll go because I can easily drive there…..

You people are totally ignoring my needs. Reno is only a couple of hours drive for me, so I can't see why we need to go anywhere else.  ;D ;D

But seriously, I'm kinda tired of Reno as well. I loved Baton Rouge and really looking forward to El Paso. I would prefer to go back to the era where the tournament traveled around the country to places like Mobile, Billings etc.

I am now a few hours drive from Reno as well....so having it there is such an advantage. But...I agree with most of the others who posted, I am kind of tired of going to Reno myself. It will be nice to see El Paso (a town I didn't get the chance to visit when I lived in TX). Baton Rouge is ok, not great. Syracuse wasn't that great a town when we went 16 years ago, and I can't think it is much better now after the economic downturn. But it will hopefully quiet those complaining about the tournament not coming East. Vegas is usually a good time, so nice to go there.

I too wish it would go back to really moving around. I had always wanted to go to Mobile as I heard stories from my Dad when he went there to bowl Nationals....as well as a few other out of the way places.

For the group I go with, the USBC's are a golf trip in which we do a little bowling.  Bunch of guys who average 190's to 2 teens.  Not looking to win eagles, too hard to win brackets against the heavy hitters (Had a guy on our squad in team a few years ago who entered every bracket and won all but two, $4K + as I recall).  So we go to see if we can break our past highs, eat at some nice places, do some sightseeing, and play lots of golf on new courses.  Just about ran out of new places in Reno.

I used to really look forward to the trips when they were in Mobile, Billings, Tulsa, Salt Lake, Syracuse, Albuquerque, Baton Rouge, because we got to go to different places and see new things and hit new golf courses.  But when they go Reno, X, Reno, Reno, Y, Z, Reno, I lose interest.

And the wife doesn't ever want to go to Reno again.
