my report...
« on: June 05, 2007, 04:05:33 AM »
Will try to get down what I remember - first chance I've had to get my thoughts down since I've been back. Bowled May 20-21.

Team - started with Black Widow pin under ring MB down and right of thumb balance hole 4 from PAP at 1000 abralon playing 10. Had an OK look, was forcing my swing a little too much - tugged a couple that went nose. Missed a 7 and a 10, made everything else with no doubles for 172, switched to Shift on fill ball, shaded left a couple boards playing 13-10 and found a nice look. Shift drilled 5x5 with 2 in pin buffer, pin above and to the right of ring, no hole. Swing really loosened up and was able to finish 238-234 for 644. Didn't have to move much, just kept shading left. Team we were crossing with were all throwing chalk around 7 so our pair really started to open up.

Doubles - started at 15 with the Shift, where I ended team. Fought the reaction for a game and half, wasn't throwing it good - kept thinking it was me and got stubborn about moving in. 188-175 playing the high-light game. Finally moved in to about 22 towards the end of game 2 and what do you know the swing loosened up again, finished spare spare sheet the tenth game 2, finish with 257 in game 3 for 620. D'oh!!!!

Singles - Stay with Shift playing same line, roll a 2 pin first frame, move 2 and 2 right and run the front 6 before a 4-9, spare, strike, 4-9 finish for 222. Start moving back left and lost my carry finishing with 204 and 212 for 638 and 1902 AE.

Overall, great trip. Team bowled great - shot my first 1900 and was low on the team. Looking forward to Corpus!!!!

Nice shooting.

See you bowled with a decent team.

Zagar was on the companion team of mine a few years ago.
Good player just never got to know him.

Thanks Mike.

Our team is pretty solid. Zagar is a really good player, Tim never misses a spare, Jerry is a strike machine and Brownie has the most talent out of all of us. I'm just glad they let me bowl with them!
