from what I understand from my friends who already went it would appear the mission and total bedlam was a large favorite.

Lanes seemed to hook more this year then last and balls with a strong ball motion and roll seemed to do better then those that skid flipped.

For me Big B stuff rolled great. My pin down C system 3.5 at 2000 siaar gave me a great look in singles and doubles and the beginning of team. I was playing roughly fifteen at the arrows to nine downlane in doubles and then moved to the singles pair and had a very similar look. As for team i used my 3.5 in the opening frames playing much straighter until they transitioned. Then i moved left and got out my pin up Diamondback at 2000. It gave more room then i would have ever dreamed of having at Nationals. I also had a group of friends having great success with the Evil Siege and the C system 2.5

Just got back two days ago.  I ended up using the pin-up Mutant Cell for the most success.  I tried my Nomad solid in team practice for the first game in doubles (183), and found that it would slide through my intended break point.  Shot 1932 AE.  You want surface to read the mid-lane consistently and know your ideal break point.  Most everyone that was successful, had a break point 1 board right of the marker board furthest down lane.

I used a Solaris Requiem for most of my games only used my AZO Ultra Tactics the last game of singles.

Drilled very close to each other. 70x4x40 for the Requiem at 500 abralon. Ultra is 60x4x30 1000 abralon with lane polish.

Bring something you are comfortable with as far as reaction and fit, regardless of what it is or how old. Heck, I bowled 9 games with a Scorchin Inferno and did quite well and that's not exactly the latest greatest. To me you want to have something predictable in your hand that you know what it will do and just worry about making good shots.

I didn't use anything with a lot of surface and a ton of hook.  Depending on your revs and speed shouldn't need anything under 1000 grit surface.  Probably need something with polish on it for minors.
