How confident are you going into this years?

On a scale of 1-10 how much confidence are you taking into this year's tournament and why?

I would say I'm about at a 7, due to shooting just under 650 in singles in Reno last year, and for the first time, I feel like I've been getting in some legitimate work on Nationals type patterns.  After bowling on, and struggling on T o C, World Championships, Shark, and the other PBA patterns, I feel like I have a solid idea of what lines will have a serious shot in team event.  I may take a look at the gutter, but more than likely, I'll be deep inside, keeping it close to the pocket, or medium deep inside, keeping the breakpoint inside of about 13 or so.......much easier said than done, of course.  Much thanks to Dave Wodka for putting out these great patterns to work on in our PBA league......putting the challenge back in the sport!!!

How low can I go? -infinity is pretty close. My game is soooo off right now it's not even funny. My average has dropped over 10 pins in 2 months. I don't go until late May, so hopefully I can work this crap out.

Just got back this week &.....good luck. Team was different - 8 to 10 board OOB. We had third shift S & D in the morning, but no one was on it the first shift.  Second shift was 2 mixed doubles - one lady was throwing a backup ball. The other 3 were between 8 & 14 at the arrows throwing into the hole. Our shot would hold for a maximum of 4 frames. Friend of mine was using a black U Dot off the corner along with me using a highly polished Sahara. Inside was feast or famine.

I saw this post the other day, but I have been so busy that I haven't really had the time to respond yet. Anyways, I would say I am at about an 8. I would say that I am at an 8, because, right now, I do feel very well with my bowling, and everything seems to feel right. Also, my equipment is pretty good right now. I do have one hole in it, but I am getting another ball soon to fill that gap. What drops me down a little is because this will only be my second year in bowling it, and it is the first time that I will be bowling on lanes installed inside a convention center. I have bowled at the Stadium before, so I wasn't too uncomfortable there last year. Then the surprising fact of how well I did last year, boosts my confidence up a little more. So maybe more of a 9, haha! I go April 16th and 17th, so we will see then. Good luck to all, and maybe see some of you there.
