Lane 81 at Reno

I've been in a slump since spring of 09'. I've tried to self fix on my own without any permanent results. I would have some glory here and there on the lanes, and the glory didn't last very long. Plus, bowling on THS really didn't help with my crusade to get better. So, I gave up on trying to improve own my on and sought the help from Mike Jasnau the week I was at Reno - the first week of May.

The best investment I've ever made in bowling was signing up for lessons. The cost for this lesson is under $150 for an hour, the same price of a new bowling ball. Likewise, Mike Jasnau is not only knowledgeable about the game, but very funny as well. His explanations on things are straight forward and simple. No extra BS unless he's making a funny.

As far as results post Lane 81, there has been great improvements in my game. I've only bowled five games total since Nats, and the results are amazing.  In fact, I walked away from doubles/singles (Nats) with back to back deuces to end my week at Reno.   Something I couldn't do all season long in league lol. It sure made my drive back to California much easier.

Finally, the experience I've gained from my lessons with MJ gave me a new outlook about my game and about bowling as a whole. Bowling is fun again. The best $150 I've ever spent in bowling. And if you have the chance to attend this session with MJ, you will not be disappointed.

Mike Jasnau did a lot to help us this year ... as he always does!   Richter and Walters had lessons with him on the Thursday we were there.

I just wanted to support the things already posted about lessons from Mike.  If anyone reading this has ever thought about taking a lesson with him, you should definitely do it.  I have take lessons from him for the last 3 years.  I go back and watch the dvds whenever I hit a slump during the season.  In a way I have gotten spoiled taking one on one lessons with Mike that I really don't like doing group clinics much anymore.  I feel my money is much better spent working with Mike.  I just wish I could work with him more often than once a year.
