I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Your best bet would be to post it the same way on the USBC open website for Matt Cannizarrio.

Whoever said ask Matt is correct.  If you are wearing them as a team it will probably not be a big problem but it is technically not a mock or have a collar so I would say no but I am not the judge....

actually they are provided your wear slacks

quote from the site you quoted
quote:
*Please note that shirts with mock collars are now allowed by individual bowlers in any event, provided they are wearing casual slacks or trousers (no jeans allowed with “mock” collar shirts).

I've worn mock neck shirts in singles and doubles

on edit, if it is a tee shiirt then I would agree that no you cannot, but a mock neck shirt is totally acceptable

You cannot wear it since it does not have a collar, but the exception is if the entire team has them they will allow it

That is correct that it is only acceptable in teambut I noticed a couple of bowlers actually wearing shorts at the knees and nobody stopped them from bowling. The officials were not on top of it.

sorry guys, rule 7 clearly states

quote:
"mock" collared shirts are permitted provided, however, they must be worn with casual slacks or trousers.  NO jeans are allowed with "mock" collared shirts

I took that directly from the usbc site
http://www.bowl.com/Downloads/pdf/tournaments/OpenChamps/08openrules.pdf

Last year or the year before the rule said not in team event, but in singles and doubles as long as the partners worn the same shirt.  It appears to me that the rule is changed this year

Triggerman is correct about mocks.  The rule was changed this year.  No longer does the entire team need to wear them, but you can't wear them with jeans.  Is the shirt pictured a mock or just a t-shirt?  I have no idea.  At what point does a t-shirt become a mock?

Last year those shirts were worn I bowled next to a team that a couple had the regular black widow shirt like that and the others had the no mercy shirt like that. I was alittle surprized that they got to wear them especially since the whole team didnt have the same ones on

In this team picture it looks like that shirt is being worn but I thought it wouldn't be since it doesn't have the mock collar. I have the black widow shirt like it, the black one, and would like to wear it there but I didn't think it would be allowed without the mock neck.
