Airfare

For all you lucky buggers headed to the Cajun Land you might want to look at airfare as some airlines are offering good deals. My former doubles partner just booked out of Hartford, Conn to Baton Rouge for $224 one stop in Atlanta. All good times. He booked through Cheap Tickets. If he wants 4 nights hotel total is $331.

Few other sites that have been good lately are Orbitz, hot wire and Expedia. Another option is to fly into New Orleans and rent a car to Baton Rouge. To book to New Orleans check some of the airlines own web sites as they tend to highlight cities like New Orleans with some good prices.

Good luck to all if you need help message me I like playing around doing that stuff. Biggest key is being somewhat patient as it might take 2-3 months to get a real good deal.

I was also told that if you're going to rent a car anyway - fly in to New Orleans instead. It's cheaper, and only around 75 miles away.

Already booked our flight, and the fare was about the same going into New Orleans or Baton Rouge, $320 out of Ontario, CA.  Got this through cheaptickets.com.  Already getting excited for the trip.

I would doumble check the layover times if you are stopping through Atlanta though.  YOu want to give yourself a minimum of 75 minutes, especially if you end up having going from one side of the airport to the other.
