I have prices at the Sands at $42+tax Sunday thru thursdays and $62+ tax on Friday and Saturday. I will list more as we go to some of the internet discount hotel sells.

Here are some sites that have had good pricing from time to time.

***If anyone uses priceline or hotwire for rooms please give us an idea of rejected or accepted rates. I have heard of the Hilton being accepted for $28+charges($10-$14) on priceline.*************

Anoher place to get infor is from ABCTournament.com with the American World Travel link.  They have rates for ABC bowlers.  Fitzgeralds is $68 Fri & Saturday and $32 Sun - Thursday, or somehing close to that.

My daughter stayed there for WIBC Nationals and said it was nice.  I'll be at the El Dorado this weekend for the pro am.  I'll see how it is there.

We got some good prices from Reno.com and hotels.com also. We got the Hilton for $49 and $59 for our dates.

Note to those staying at Fitzgeralds -
It's a really great place, just a couple of blocks from the stadium - well within walking distance. However, unless you can sleep through a train RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW be sure to request a non-railroad side room. Been there, didn't do that...

I like Circus Circus.  The casino is straight out of the 60s downright tacky, but the rooms have been remodeled and are a decent price.  They have two towers and a little tram that rumbles back and forth 24/7, so if you choose CC it's best to be about 7 floors up or higher so you don't hear the tram.

I couldn't get CC for my scheduled dates, so I'm at the Legacy this year.

Couldn't find a better deal than the Sands, and they have a free shuttle from the airport and a free shuttle to the stadium, can't really beat that, even if the rooms have a bright retro look (or at least thats what it looks like on the pictures)

My first trip to Reno for the WIBC had me staying at Atlantis.  Aside from the shuttle back and forth to the Stadium, it's a nice place.  The rooms are big enough to land a plane in, the food was good and the casino is decent too.

I stayed at the Peppermill three years ago and it was great!  We stayed in the tower and the rooms were comfortable and large.  I found the casinos better than most and there are several restaurants to choose from.  I am going this year and the Peppermill will be the hotel I choose.

Six years ago, I stayed at the Reno Hilton, which is another fine choice but this hotel is isolated from everything else (it seemed like it was out in the middle of nowhere) and the staff was not as friendly as the Peppermill.

BTW - All of the hotels in Reno provide shuttles to and from the airport as well as to and from the Stadium, so do not be swayed one way or the other if a hotel claims this.

We're staying at the Peppermill for the first time this yr. Happy to see that others give it a good recommendation. My caption chose it this yr, in the past we've stayed at the Silver Legacy and the El Dorado. These are fine choices, near the stadium too.
