Title: New team all-events leaders
Post by: riggs on April 28, 2008, 11:59:26 AM
My story:

http://www.madison.com/tct/sports/283658

Four of them threw Cells all nine games.
Thompson threw a Cell much of the time.

Riggs, great article. You should do one on the team from the bowl.com forums. Five guys from 5 different states that didn't meet till bowling Nationals, except to chat in the bowl.com forums. One is even from WI.

Interesting on the Cells, wonder what their surface was? Hmmmmmm.

haha I liked the part where the team said the guy with the clean 650 in singles was huge, because he's normally eratic on spares

Thanks guys.
Jorge, if one of the guys was from the Madison area I might write about them.
The spare guy is one of my best friends - we were in each other's weddings - and he gets needled all the time about spares, although he has gotten a lot better. His teammates were laughing about his clean set Monday.
Not sure exactly what surface on Cells.

Must be the "secret" Cheesehead shot Jeff.

Know these guys and NOT surprised at all by their lead.

BTW....Mr. Richgels won't toot his own horn but he took 2nd at a Midwest PBA Regional in Madison this weekend. Losing to PDW in the finals with a great showing this weekend....way to go Jeff!  http://pba.com/regional/regionstory.asp?ID=1672

Can't speak for the other 3 guys, but my Cell was at 1000 abralon for Team and kept it the same, just cleaned it, for minors.

Very versatile ball (obviously) as I used mine all 9 games (less two shots with my TRoad Solid in doubles).
