What's your definition of Nationals
« on: February 19, 2010, 10:52:31 AM »
It's a national tournament for League Bowlers and not a tournament to decide who are the best amateur bowlers most of whom are professional amateurs. There are many other venues for that. If they want to make the tournament more comfortable(ie. jeans, beer) for the majority it was designed for then it's a good thing. This whole concept of "fat, drunken, fighting bowlers" doesn't work as they don't go to nationals. Most want to go and bowl on tougher conditions than they are use too, be apart of their fellow League Bowlers and have a good time. The National Championship is the US Open. Just my 2 cents, what our your thoughts?

I haven't heard anything past Baton Rouge in a couple of years.

I'm sure they are still hoping for the Orlando deal to happen.

Then it will be Reno, Orlando, and who knows where else.

Right now, they have the following listed for upcoming cities

2014 - Orlando, Fla.
2013 - Reno, Nev.
2012 - Baton Rouge, La.
2011 - Reno, NV
2010 - Reno, NV

So we've got eastern states for 2012 and 2014

It IS next year!
