I bowled June 1/2, and averaged 215 last year(THS).

Team - 505 - I bowled team with a brand new ball and shoes(Full Throttle($139 drilled) & Linds Exxtras), as Amtrak decide to send my bowling balls hither and yon, instead of to Reno. It took me a couple games to get comfortable with the shoes, and I had to work out the thumb a bit, so I wasn't too disappointed with my score.

Doubles - 556(partner had 611)

Singles - 572

One of my bags showed up in time for D/S. Luckily, it was the one with my shiny equipment(Thing & SS Pearl) and my wrist brace. I pretty much got what I deserved, overall.

The best line was definitely inside of 10. Anyone trying to play out further had zero margin for error. The lanes were not very forgiving in team, and were little better in D/S. Getting to the pocket was not too difficult, but carrying it was another story. My partner was hitting the pocket consistently, but left a wide variety of back-row spares; then he'd try something a little different, and wind up with something really ugly. I wasn't very consistent, so I can't really complain about my performance.

One of my bags never showed up, so Amtrak is looking for it now, all the way up and down the route. I hope it turns up someday. If not, Amtrak is buying me some new equipment.

My scores were -

Team: 520
Doubles: 557
Singles: 584

I found the outside shot playable, but the carry was awful.  I am lefthanded and lost count of the number of 8 pins I left when hitting the pocket.  The righthanded bowlers on my lanes were leaving 9 pins.  Looking around at the other lanes, the same thing was happening all around me.  I stayed mostly clean, but I could not put together a string of more than two or three...

I bowled June 22 at 2:30 and June 23rd at 7 am

Team went 220-242-185

Doubles went 193-236-187
Singles went 201-200-178

Shot 1842 All-Events

Threw my Monster BRuiser for the first 7 games, and went to my V2 Dry the last 2.  The 178 in singles i had trouble find any descent reaction, so I went to the throw the shot harder and straighter and just kept the ball in play and made spares.  The 178 had just one open in it.

Doesn't look to impressive when I put up scores in this manner:

Regular Division:
doubles - four thousand thirty fifth place
singles - eight thousand forty second place
all events - four thousand one-hundred ninety ninth place
team (classified) team average below 190 - two hundred eighth place

looks a little better this way
team - top 7% - 544 - way to many opens
doubles - top 15% - 618 - consistant - 3 opens not a lot of carry
singles - top 14.5% - 584 - bowled a 700+ but only scored 584 - 1 open in 3rd game.
all events - top 7.5% - 198 average - used an old HPD and a V2 CLEAN.
And of course a Cubs VIS-A-BALL for spares.
