Title: Re: USBC Bowling Ball Express
Post by: charlest on March 10, 2006, 08:29:22 AM
OK, so what am I missing?

I went to this "facility" to see about shipping a ball. I press on the "Get Started Here" Icon and it brings up a UPS webpage asking for the Company ID.
Only I don't see where the USBC info Guidelines gives one a Number of name to put into that field. So I can go no further.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you don't get any help here, try the tournament forum on Bowl.com.  They seem to be pretty good about responding to questions like this

nope, because when I click on that, it takes me immediately to this webpage:
https://www.ups-psi.net/eStar/Login1.asp
which has nothing but the Company ID field, as I indicated above.

That's strange, when I vlicked on the link at first, (in preview) it worked...
Now I get exactly what you say?

I used the site, to ship my equipment, and it worked...don't know what's up with it?

Sorry...

I posted over at the bowl.com forum.SOmeoe gave me yet another alternate url and it still redirected me to the one above.

Then a Matt Cannizarro posted telling me to call them, USBC for help. Why do I have to pay a toll call to get help. If I do decide to send a ball, I'll use my own UPS account and send it to my hotel. Phooey.

charlest,
I noticed one thing: When I enter the Nall Express from the USBC site...I get a menu, next to the drop down menu, there is a button that says "LOGOUT". I never logged into UPS site. But it shows that I am logged in. I'm using Foxfire as a Browser, don't know what you are using, or if that even matters.

I deleted all my cookies so it would not have my UPS login and stuff, as I'm a regualr UPS user. STill not dice. Thanks, but no need to do any more. IF I decide to send any balls via UPS, I'll do it to my hotel.
