where is the open being held at next year i heard it is in reno again but that would be 2 years in a row

Yes, it is in Reno.

It was first in Wichita, but that fell through. Then it was going to be at a new bowling Center in Orlando, but due to the world economic crisis, funding for construction fell through on that as well. So it was placed in Reno again for 2011 and then Baton Rouge for 2012, Reno for 2013 (it's next regular rotation) and Orlando now for 2014, if it is complete.

You are right Jorge... Although I don't believe it was due to the economic crisis being the main contributor for Oralando.  From what was discussed at the USBC meetings it was a fight over who would own the property and support the event.

Thanks for the info...last I had heard funding for the actual construction dried up when the credit crunch hit. This wouldn't surprise me either. Did they ever mention why Wichta fell through? That was one thing I have never heard.

Delegates were told the Orlando deal was on hold at best. They are searching for a host in 2014. Not close to anywhere at this time from what they were told. I was watching on UStream when they were conducting the Q&A session.
