Carry percentage.

Last year I had 57 strikes out of 108 possible frames for 52.7%, this year 33%.

Lastly year, including splits I had 8 opens, this year 7.

So recognizing the pattern and finding the correct carry is key for me.  I am 3 pins away from lifetime 200 average for nationals and that is one of several goals i hope to achieve at nationals.

Next year hopefully better.

Was a bad year for me too.. Not that I usually light them up.  Normally I'm around 1850 to 1950 the last 4 or 5 years.. this year 1783. My ball basically never ever hooked for me.. just amazing all these super high scores this year considering how flooded the lanes where (at least to me).  I'm a fairly straight player (340rpm @ 17mph on ave) but I never got my normal nationals read until the last game in singles.  I would much rather see them hook and play 4th and 5th arrow than have the ball skid 60 feet off the end of the pin deck.  I had to throw a 360 abarloned gamebreaker just to get the ball to slow down at all the first game and half.

This year was more important than ever to have to have your team and companion team work together to break them down and if they didn't they played very very though.  However the opposite was true if your team and companion team did work together heck they were easier than league due to the extra hold down lane due to all the extra volume and length.  Unfortuantely for me I don't have the advantage of bowling with a team than can play the lanes the right way and aren't willing to work together of course the lanes turned into crap in short order.  I'm in process of trying to get a different group of guys to bowl with that actually have a clue and can stick to strategy.
