Just saw the e-mail.

I wonder if we can keep our May dates.

On Bowl.com it says you will have the same days, but the times may be adjusted.

If I get stuck with crap times(When I had great squad times before), I'm going to give them a huge truck load of shit.

I just checked with our squad leader, and our dates of May 14 and 15 remain the same. our team times are the same, but S/D times are affected. That's the latest as of this morning, I'm sure logistics will shift a bit b/c our group is bringing fifty teams. I think South Point has less than 100 lanes, so I'm sure some team times will change.

Yeah my group is livid, this is our third schedule impact because we had rescheduled for the canceled 2020 dates, and then we were supposed to go end of March for 2021.

Not sure we'll recover many after this, but it is what it is. Now to deal with the headache of contacting the other 59 people.

We have April dates, so from the looks of the e mail I received (I'm the squad leader) we will get squeezed in to a May, June, or July time frame.

So anybody who signed up and paid for the March/April is most-likely not going to get the "prime spots" they signed up for, which sucks. I understand the USBC is in a bind here, and had to draw a line somewhere. I'm just hoping we're not bumped to a 7am S & D slot, or 8 am team slot, but I realize it's probably going to happen.

Plus, like last year, they may have to push dates back yet again.

Yeah, our squad leader was just told this by USBC is all. I think details are coming early 2021.

That all seems to be locked down at this time.

At this time, the online registration/team management portal is turned off indefinitely to allow time to complete the move of teams and reset the squad schedule, which resulted from the shifting of the event's start date to May 1.

Welp.. it looks like I'll be sitting out this year's tournament. I wasn't able to keep an established average over the past 2-3 years (family health issues kept me from bowling regularly or subbing), and without having any alleys open for leagues since last January, I wasn't able to establish a current average this past year, or bowl the 27 games at Nationals needed to use that average which would have me coming into Nationals at 220 or higher.

That, and not having any means to bowl, let alone bowl Nats, It makes more sense to wait until the next year to try anything. Right now, I don't see anyone, especially those on the west coast, are going to be ready let alone tournament ready for this year's tournament.

At the Open, it doesn't matter much. If you come in at 204+ on a house shot, you are still considered "chum" for the deep end sharks.

Chad has to make sure the pba, wpba, college, team usa etc. folks are able to make money off the rest of us.

The trick is don't play brackets.

Well it has been over 2 weeks since the announcement and I haven't heard anything yet on our squad times. We are going in May so our dates should remain the same.

My guess is that trying to reschedule the 2 months delay (March, April) has been a bigger chore than expected. I visited the website and nothing is available on it.

Plus I'm guessing they are getting quite a few cancellations.
