Trip advisory, if you going to Orlando
« on: July 18, 2010, 08:39:23 AM »
Fellow bowlers… just want to warn you if you going to tournament at Boadwalk lane in Orlando, Florida with (out of state license plate) and you driving a nice car.
My friends and I had been pulled over by a police for without any good reason, I got pulled over because my lexus rx300 back glass window (which it is a manufacture glass from lexus) too much glare for Florida sun. My friend with brand new Chevy suv got pullover because his suv back window too dark(manufacture glass) and his temporary license plate too loose….  Another incident that my friend driving a nice Cadillac had been followed for about 4 miles, as soon as he get out from his hotel traveling to bowling alley.
So I wonder if the police will pull over all out of state license plate cars that traveling into Orlando.
We still don’t get it why the police was harassing or profiling a tourist that spends money in their city (bowling, hotel, foods, disney). We are all decided never come to Orlando any more and spend our money some where else where we feel like we are welcome to their city. Good thing none of us got a ticket but we are all got warning.

Stormbowler83,

Being that you were reading that on your iphone, don't they have an app to make it easier on you to read it if you are truly having that hard of a time reading his message?

I live in Orlando, and the reason they pulled you over is that your are in a poor latino neighborhood and you had really dark tint. It will get worse through the rest of the month and August as all of the new students start moving into UCF for the new year.

Thanks for the heads up 12X.  Was it during the daytime hours or evening?

83 not to be a bore but I wouldn't go around correcting everyone's grammer every second you get. If you are that bored you might want to contribute something rather then being some disgruntled user.

Since the USBC has decided not to go to Orlando, does it really matter now?

They pulled you over on suspicion of horrible English and grammar. They were right. If you're going to complain, at least do it in English so we can understand what you're saying.

There goes herMurphadite again.  Flapper going on about other people's flaws.  You know what sean-o, why don't we point out some of your flaws:
1) fat
2) excessive sweating
3) you wear jean shorts with a flame shirt and knee high socks
4) your bowling
5) your lying

By the way, I'm still waiting for you to confront me.

Your pal,
Freddy

I don't know about Florida, but in Alabama, it was very common to have vehicles pulled over for dark window tint.  From what I've read, if the police have a hard time seeing who's inside, they will definitely look for a reason to pull you over.

If this is in response to my post....the USBC Tournament isn't scheduled to be in Orlando through 2014.....so this is in the wrong forum. Sorry, you lose.
