USBC Open

I got back a little while ago from Vegas and had to wait to cool down before i gave my two cents worth. I had 550 in Team with 6 opens. I was always worried about my Team event because they are always so Wet/Tight for me as i am now 45 yrs old and i left my Hand/Revs at a tournament a few years ago and i just don't hook it like i used to. HA HA. I used a Storm Dimension with a 5x5 drilling and it was plenty of ball, I just should have moved in earlier than I did a lot sooner. So thinking i was in good shape for Doubles and Singles i went out to watch the group on our lanes. Pairs 1-2 and 3-4. There was no Teams on 1 and 2 which no one was burning up the pattern for us and the Teams on 3-4 were missing 2 people on the Teams and there was a group of Women on the pair throwing High Performance White Dots!!! I let this get to me and i just gave up being frustrated with what i saw. I always enjoy the second day because they are a little more open because you just came off what they will be like from the night before in Team event. For the 24 years previous I have a 198 average at the Open/USBC and i should have kept my cool, but I did not. I difinately let myself down and learned a lot and will keep learning. All in All the shot is definately very playable. Thanks and if you have any questions on what else i used out there i will get back with you. Thanks Kevin Doane
