Slow and Swing or Hard Straight

Watching the master on TV,(even though the oil pattern is different) the pros seem to be playing staight and carrying.

From my experience last year in Knoxville, the team event you should start out straight to burn a track then start to migrate left and the lanes break down.  For Double and Singles the soft swing from left channel to 10 board seem to be the best line then.

How do you feel the last played last year and how do you plan on playing this year.  This will help those people who are not sure of what balls to bring and the layouts.

I am bring a pearl charge (1 inch pin under ring finger) for team,  start with the charge in D/S if hooking too much I will throw my RELOADED (4.5 inch pin above fingers and RAD left of thumb) Thinking of drill a new ball when i get to reno just too have a fresh ball the smooth from nick and scratches.

So what game play and ball choice are you thinking of bring.  Let me know.

There are only 2 occasions in which the shot will be the same for singles and doubles as it would be for team.  All team squads are bowled on a fresh shot that has been stripped and oil.  If you happen to bowl on the 7:00 am singles and doubles squad then you will have the same shot for that as you would for team, freshly stripped and oiled lanes.  The only other case where the shot may be the same is if by chance you draw a pair for singles and double where there may not have been a team set bowled on them before you bowled due to the team squad before you maybe being small.  Other than those two scenarios, singles and doubles will be different because the lanes would have broken down some from having 30 games just bowled on them.
