what is working?

In general, what have people seen that is working well out in Reno this year?  The reason I am asking is I am taking 4 balls, 1 being plastic so I'd like a little help into what to take.  As of now, I haven't seen anybody mention particle pearls and thier success out there, so I think I am leaving my freak out home.  Right now, my plan is to take my polished El Nino for backend, dull sapphire zone for control, and Angle evolution for breakdown.  Other balls are in my profile.  Any suggestions would be great.

Dan,
Read the Shotmakers review of Reno conditions. He is right
on with his descriptions. The Big Blue Pearl is a pearl
particle. That is both of our main balls currently. The
conditions are horrible. The Shotmaker can stroke with
anyone, and if he did not hit it, there is something with
the shot. He also to a Big Blue Solid Particle down, but
from his review, that was not the best reaction. Most of
his stuff is drilled to go long and not snap.

Seems simple consistency, small flare drilling and and picking up spares is what's working.
I'm bowling in late June and after hearing fellow bowlers that've bowled from Vanc., Shotmaker, SrKegler and other posts here I'll only be taking older control balls.

Sometimes less is more. Everyone I've talked to seem to feel that med-resins wre a good way to go. Now that doesn't mean you can't make others work but that was the concensus. Chris Johnson who is leading it currently used an X-Factor. Funny because Steve K. (last years champ) also used one. I am bringing  (drilled) lower flare or lightbulb core stuff.  I will bring two oilers for the BTM though.
