Has anyone heard a name of the City getting the USBC bid for 2011.
-
I keep hearing that Wichita is still in the hunt to get Nationals back for 2011. The town needs it BADLY!!! Alot of things have been happening here with lots of closures and voting down tourist attractions.
-
I keep hearing its between Wichita and Mobile depending on weather mobile can clear the schedule for the event center.
-
Wichita=Billings.

Mobile at least looks half way interesting. Right on the Gulf, so there's gotta be some fishing charters, looks to be a decent bar scene, my group goes in March, so it should be half way warm down there.

How about a Fresca?

I would take Mobile a hundred times over Wichita. i have been to both on business and would probably skip the year in Wichita.
-
I had also heard Corpus Christi was in the running for 2011 as well.

Mobile's only maybe six hours away. It that's the case, I'm so there!

wichita is hosting the 2011 usbc open championships....
go to www.bowl.com----where is says, "tournaments" click on "usbc open championships", then click on "host cities"
-
Greg it has been posted there for a while they backed out of the deal last year and since there is not a replacement city yet they have left it there for now.
-
Greg...thay haven't corrected the list, but right now Wichita is not hosting it. Final negotiations fell apart months ago.

Wichita sound about as interesting as Tulsa, but it does have stronger beer, I think. I enjoyed Corpus, good weather when I was there. I'd rather not go to Reno again, every 3rd year is enough. Orlanda could be fun though...

Damn, I was hoping for Mobile. Only about four and a half hours away. I'm looking forward to it being back in BR as I have lots of family all over southeast LA.
