Post by: Dewey24 on May 20, 2011, 08:20:53 PM
Story up this morning, Riggs & co take over the lead with a  mind boggling last game of 1281(256.2 per man). Congrats to Turbo 2-N-1  Grips 1, Glad I don't bowl till Monday.

Very impressive, I watched the match on Bowl.com and after the first game was going to turn it off , then went ahead and watched one hell of a display of not only bowling but sportsman ship, there stopping to give the guy on there left, the right of way when he was on the big string, and then there applauding his game and him, showed what they are made off.

  Hats off to great sportsman.

Actually went to bed, puppy needed to go out. Turned it back on in the 3rd game
and the strikes started falling.

The power supply for my laptop computer FRY'd last night after game two and didn't get a chance to watch the third game until this morning.  What an unreal way to finish the night.  Satan's pocket 7-10 and only two of them doubled in the10th frame and they STILL shoot the highest team game in OC history.  The things that I'll remember is the great sportsmanship the teams showed for the bowler on 27-28 with the front nine and the heart-warming way Riggs gave a shout out to the Dan Marino of OC bowling, Jace Peterson, as 2-N-1 supplanted he(Jace) and Brazeau's Bowling Supply team atop the standings.  Congratulations (crossing fingers for the score to stand) to all 10 of the 2-N-1 teammates.

we watched this match from right behind as we were doing minors right after, that last game is even more impressive than is being stated, through 7 frames they were on a 1400 pace  I new after 5 frames that riggs and his crew were gonna challenge for the lead, and sure enough they took it, there were some great scores on that squad, the two turbo teams, the storm nation team, the kegal team  its was great to be there and witness it

You're just being modest riggs, I was there, YOU lead the charge and got everyone going that last game. One of the most impressive games I have ever seen.

Congrats, guys!  Didn't get to see it live, but it sounded like a real team effort.

Special shout out to Mike Shady, whom I had the pleasure of bowling with a little during his LaCrosse days.  Mike, you are money!

Let's see this score hold up.

 299 - Elite Black Label
 298 - Roto SD-73
 297 - Brunswick C 3.5

i was there live to see them in action and let me tell you they made it look like a house shot.

absolutely a talented bunch.

i was scheduled to bowl on the pair after but my doubles partner didnt show thanks MR KNUPP! !!

then i was moved to 37-38 only to shoot 613, while the guy that just snhot 483 on 31 and 32 moved to 29-30

(the pair rigs and co was on) and he shoots 724  guess rigs and co really brokem down nice.

Another story along those lines: After we shot 3,413 in 2009 in Las Vegas, a group that included Madison's Leann Butts, a former touring player on the LPBT/PWBA who won a city title on my team one year when Mac could not bowl, took to our pair for doubles ... she had 750-something ... came back after first couple of shots and gave us an "OMG THANKS!"

Team bowling :D

Also (and NO offense to anyone) another piece of evidence for why all minors squads should be on fresh oil.
