I have decided to get rid of the Pearl Ogre as it is too close to my 4000 abralon surface original Ogre, and I like that ball too much at that surface to mess with it, so I have decided to unload this ball. Hits great, rolls and revs great, just does not fit in my arsenal how I wanted it to.
Ball is a first quality ball, not a second, blem, or X out. Ball is drilled with the pin above fingers, cg in the palm, factory surface. What is great about the drill is since there is NO extra hole, this ball could be used by either a lefty or a righty with the correct pitches added. And hitting your pitches will probably be easy as I do not use thumb slugs or finger grips, so adding them will help you hit your span and pitches! Current pitches are 1/2 left in left finger, 1/4 right in right finger, 1/4 forward in both fingers, 21/32 left finger, 11/16 right finger, 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 span, thumb hole is 1/4 reverse, no lateral, 29/32 thumb hole size.
Ball does have 2 decent marks out of it. One is even and left of the fingers, which is not so bad, and the other is even and left of the thumb, which is much worse than the other. Both are very close to the fingers and thumb. If you are a lefty, no worry as you track on the other side of the ball, and if you are a righty, unless you track high, you will probably miss the marks, and if you don't, they could easily be fixed by your pro shop.
