REVIEW
The Mixed Breed is the perfect complement to the Spartan. The new Mixed Breed core and new Xiphos II coverstock gives the ball the ability to read the midlane like the Spartan, and then make a strong move off the breakpoint. For me this ball is a good 4 - 5 boards stronger than the Spartan on the backend.
I bowled with this ball on a slightly broken down house shot and kept the ball in box condition. My ball speed is about 17 and rev rate 350. I was forced to move in with this ball as opposed to my Spartan. The motion of the Mixed Breed is early rolling with a strong arc off the breakpoint and continuous through the pin deck. The ball does handle oil carrydown well. This is a medium to heavy oil ball and like the Spartan does need some oil to maintain ball energy down the lane.
Visionary has another winner. It was worth the wait on the release of the Mixed Breed. If you are looking for a ball that can handle oily lanes don't look any further than Visionary's new Mixed Breed.
