The Raven Attack uses the Ogre HDC core along with the new Implex II Solid coverstock. This cover and core combination creates a strong midlane read with a heavy arc to the pocket. Best suited for oil patterns that are a little on the heavy side, this ball will give you a great look on fresh conditions and flatter patterns. Like the other Ravens, this core is extremely driller friendly. Just put your favorite layout on the ball and watch your scores soar!

Likes: Visionary is in a class of its own in so many ways. The Raven Attack was the best first impression I have had rolling a bowling ball. While I love the original particle Raven that opened up the series a great deal, the Attack was something all together different. With an R.G. of 2.53 and a differential of .049 the Attack does not boast gaudy numbers however this ball is as versatile as they come. This ball at 500/1000 can be anything you want it to be. The one I have drilled up and used so far is a basic pin down layout. On a THS I was able to do so many different things and I had a great time. I am a lefty who prefers to roll down and in but depending on the on the ball it can be fun to move right. Early on in the night I was playing high speed and outside. By the third game I was further right than I had ever played and I still wasn't leaving any corner pins. Visionary did not sacrifice any pop in going from a two piece Ogre, to the Raven which has the Higher Density Ogre core with a small wrap around it. The coverstock is still incredibly thick, thicker than any three piece ball I've ever rolled which is characteristic of visionary. I've only had on night with it so far but the ball is controllable, predictable, powerful, and never stops until it's in the back of the pit. Regardless of how deep I played I continued striking. I will absolutely be drilling another one up.
Dislikes: There is nothing to dislike, it is would be a tremendous addition to any arsenal.

6 games in, and I played deep on a medium condition. Didn't leave corners, and didn't have any shots fail to finish. Great ball so far. Can't wait to try it on a heavy oil shot. Should be a winner for an old down and in player like me.
