Nice looking ball, coloring like this would sell the ball even if someone didn't need it. Well I just got mine and did some practice today at my local house. I didn't have any idea if this would be a weak pearl or a strong pearl so I started at 15 and threw out to 5 and it didn't move much. Weak I thought , so moving more straighter, 13 to 3 and boom everything went great and I got the back 10 strikes boom boom boom. Guess what the very next game, another 5 strikes back to back!! I found home!!! But that was all. The shot moved and this pearl couldn't follow it inside to well. I got a few light hit strikes but the line tightened up.
I don't throw much visionary and never thought about it but I have 3 others and I think I should try them before selling them. not a bad ball but I know to be big with this I'd need conditions that like the ball.

I got my GP used and was able to just shift the fingers a little and make it work for me. Set up seen in the pics here.

Ball Speed: 13-15mph

Revs: 250-300

I like when you can find the right line with this ball because nothing will stand. It has a super hard hit! If you cant find the line though, move to a different ball. I've had my best games ever with it, but that was on a burnt up lane. So I would suggest this for more use on drier lanes unless you're comfortable playing the ditch. I've had success using this in league on a THS as well, but definitely a down and in. It's the 7 board that works for me. When it's dry tho, you can swing it and it'll work great!

All in all, I would recommend this ball, just use it in the right place. I would say if you have heavier oil, maybe the gladiator solid would be a better fit.

LANE CONDITION

Length: 39

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc): Tougher house pattern.

COMMENTS

Likes: Ball gets very good length without being overreactive. My PAP is 5 1/2 over and 3/8 up. I drilled it with a 5x4 1/2 with the layout shifted up. Have not changed the cover and it holds up very well. The power through the pins is very good and consistent.

Dislikes: None so far.
