I drilled this 1 with the pin at 12 o'clock and the cg out to the right about 1/4", and adjusted the ball surface by polishing it to 3000.  I am a righty with a ball speed of 15-17 and more than average revs.  I threw this ball on a freshly double oiled christmas tree pattern, 10 to 10.  I stood on 19 and threw 13 out to 8.  I found that with this ball I didn't really have to try and turn the ball, but just a nice and easy stroke and this ball would turn up more and harder.  And this ball recovers quite nicely if you pull it into the oil.  This ball has found a permanent place in my bag.  For me, I give this ball a 9.

Picked up the Warloc DC as part of my membership.  Drilled with a 12:00, with the CG about 1/4" right of the ring finger.  I am a tweener with medium to high ball speed and high revs.  Let me tell you, this ball arcs evenly right into the pocket, keeping the pins low.  This ball constanly held my inside line I was playing and just moved beautifully into the pocket.  Great ball, 9 out of 10 and I think this might be replacing my Black 2001 Hammer!
If I could only bowl my weight, I still would not average 200.   But hey I still damm sexy!

why did i wait till they discontinued this ball to finally get one?
picked one up used and what a find this is. the ball is 15# drilled 2 3/4 x 2 with a 13/16" hole 2 1/4" deep on my axis.finished with 1/2 oz + side and small amount of top and finger. cover is polished. this set up gets the ball rolling, but with the polished cover it gets down the lane well. ball makes a nice strong move to the pocket but does not jump. great for banking the dry. not great on heavy oil, leave it in the oil too long and it will not make it back. not for fried heads either. shot 680 first time out with the ball. like i said to bad it's d/c'd. you can still get them on the visionary website till they run out. hopefully santa will be nice to me and leave me one for christmas.

I driiled this ball straight up for a wet/dry shot. I love this ball!
I bowled 236,257,279 the first 3 games that I threw it. This is a great
core/coverstock combo. If I got the ball a few boards right or if I tugged
it three or four boards I could still get great recovery with a great amount of power at the pindeck. All in all this is a geat ball and would recommend it to many styles of bowlers.

15.5lbs. 2-3pin 3.50 topwt. ball is drilled per drilling instructions for a strong with length.it provides a very hard turn and hits like a brick much like my charcoal executioner.turns a little harder than that ball probably due to the DC core. very consistent on lt. to med. oil will post later after rolling on heavier oil.so far another winner from visionary,to bad its discontinued.

Left handed bowler
Lots of hand
Pin is under ring - 1 1/4", 1/16 out
Cg on center 1 1/4" from pin

This was my very first Visionary ball. I heard the people who had made the 3D offset for Hammer had went off to open their own company. So I followed and have been loyal ever since. I have been able to attack almost any condition out there and tend to be able to score well. The very first night I had this ball, I rolled a 290! If you don't have one of these in your bag - you have a missing element to your arsenal.

Finally got a round to getting this one drilled up for nationals.

I had this drilled up 12:00 with Mass Bias close to the VAL (don't have the ball with me to say how close, I'll update later) Pollished to 1500, an I might hit it with some elixir later.  I am planning on using this as a drier lane ball.  I love the core as you can see from my DC Tour reviews.

I took this ball out over the weekend because the bowling alley really doesn't oil the lanes on the weekend so that would be the perfect time to test it.  this ball is very good at holding a line, and it is forgiving also.  IF I sent it wide as long as I got my fingers in it, it would come back.  Pull it inside, and it would skate and finish at the end.

The DC core is the best core that they make that I have tried out, I even bought a Schorcher, bt I haven't found enough oil for it yet

I will have to see if they have any more left.

Update here is more detail on the test:
Ball specs:
16# w/ 3 oz top weight
3" pinout

IF using the Flip pin and cg it is a 6x4 drilling
Flip pin is at 12:00

Locator Pin is 3" from center of thumb at about 3:00 (this takes the strong back end away by giving it more roll)

Basically the two pins are in a 11:30 position.

No balance hole.

Coverstock:

Polished to 1500 (this is what gives the ball most of it's length)

The ball does skate through the heads but has strong arc more than flip the way I have it drilled. (At least at my home alley)

I have thrown it at another alley here in town that has more back end and the ball does come in very strong but not flippy, but I can make it flip.

Basically I used the sheet from the net with the two balls on it and picked how I wanted it to react. I did not use the sheet that came withe the ball.

This ball is great. But I found out, when I polished the ball, that it's a lot more stable on the lanes and suprisingly hooks the same or even more sometimes.

Besides that the warlock is a great ball. It hits hard, has control and is just simply easy and fun to use. The great thing about it is that it adapts well to the differently lane conditions.

Try it.....

This ball is great with fresh oil and carry down.  I love this ball, second time using it in leauge I shot my first 700 shot 740.  Has great hitting power!  Doesn't like the dry, but that's not what the ball is made for!

Found one cheap on EBay and drilled it because I liked what I saw from a friend's Orange Warlock. Used it at OOB (too strong for these parts) and quickly took it to 2000 with LaneMasters polish.

Drilled pin over bridge, mb right next to the thumb, a 5.5x5 drill for me. With the current surface, the ball gets through the heads nicely without spinning it's wheels too much. Very readable reaction when it makes it's move. It is just flippy enough without going sideways. Typical Visionary hit and carry.

I have it a little stronger in the midlane compared to my Ogre SS, but weaker in the backend. About 5-7 boards stronger than a similarly drilled Blue Green Centaur. I have done very well on Cheetah with the WDC. I am actually going to take the cover down a bit to see what it can do on Viper and Chameleon.

Hard to find, but if you like the older VBP stuff, this is a nice choice.
