289 With my Midnight Scorcher
« on: February 05, 2008, 01:21:20 PM »
Set my new high league game tonight with a 289....my previous high was a 279 which I have had a few of those in the past. That was my 3rd game tonight. First game I used a warp zone and was playing down and in, I am a lefty, played around the first arrow and was locked in for a nice 258. Second game my first shots were inconsistent--the lanes were chaing since we had another lefty playing near me on the opposing team, and we have another lefty on our team. 6th or 7th frame I switch to my midnight scorcher, I moved 7 boards right and placed the ball a few boards more inside , between the 1st and 2nd arrows and after staring with a 9 spare--forget what pin I left, I ripped off 10 in a row and then had a 9 count the last ball for a 289 game and a 749 series. My personal league high game , and one of my best series ever, so I was pleased.

Great shooting Brad. I too, still have a Midnight. My go-to flood ball. I'm lucky to get out of the 2nd game with it however, but awesome ball nonetheless!
