"Illegal" balls?
« on: January 13, 2008, 04:43:16 PM »
Aren't there certain Visionary balls that are illegal for USBC sanctioned league play( those with RG diff. over 0.60. Some as high as 0.078)?

If so the AMB Centaur Solid with RG diff. of 0.062 does not make sense......Couldn't they bring it down a little at the factory? Sounds like a good ball......

Thanks! How can we find the "listing"? I'll go on their official site now.

Basically no company will put out balls that are illegal for USBC competition.  The only illegal balls that you might reasonably expect to find are the Bonanzas.

The high-diff balls from Visionary were approved before the differential rule was changed.  Visionary did not put them into mass production until much later.
