AMB Particle question
« on: January 03, 2008, 03:16:02 AM »
just bought an AMB particle.

I was surprised on how strong this ball reacts.  I know everybody said it hooked.  I never really had a ball hook like this.  I threw it on something that i could not get the rest of my equipment to move and it just burned up real early. i want to try to make it a more playable

Couple of question

What surface does everybody have there's at.  i can't keep it at OOB surface.  I don't think that i will ever hit that much oil.

What do you use to make surface changes.  (Abralon, scotch brite).  I thought particle equipment was little touchy on what you can use.

I definitely want to try some more visionary stuff.  Something that I would use more often.

yokerok,

A couple questions:

What is the layout of your AMB Particle?
What is your ball speed? (low, med, high)
How would you describe your style? (Stroker, Tweener, Cranker)

When I was threw my AMB Particle, I had the cover at 4000 with Storm #2 on top of that, it seemed to be the only way I could keep it from buring up in the mids and the layout I had was 4 1/2 x 5 1/2.
