Hello All,
I just wanted to make everyone aware, that as of Friday, the USBC has required us to stop production on the Immortal and AMB Centaur lines. As per an agreement when they changed the rules, all production on balls with differentials greater than .060" stopped as of 2/01/08. We have produced a significant amount of these balls in order to keep them in our line throughout the spring, however, when we run out they are gone for good. I would highly suggest that anyone who wants one of these balls to get one now before they are gone.
Thanks again,
Jason Wonders

Interesting. Does this also limit other manufacturers? Or is this a singular move againts VBP?

Hey Jason I was thinking of Joining the ball testing program you guys have to offer... Could I still do this? I was thinking of making 2 of the 4 balls the immortals, would that still be ok too? thx John

Hello,
The rule is in effect for all manufacturers, not just Visionary.
John,
The membership is still available, and there is absolutely no problem with getting the Immortals as part of the membership. Just keep in mind that when we run out of them, we won't be making anymore, so you may want to do it within the next few weeks to a month just to make sure we don't run out.

Is there a date by which these balls will be deemed illegal to be USED by bowlers in USBC competitions? Too lazy to research for myself.

Maybe you can modify the Centaur AMB to .6 differential instead of .62. That would make them all legal again.
