I want to congratulate Willie Wells for winning the ASSBT/Arkansas Senior Scratch Bowlers Tour at Millennium Bowl Maumelle, Arkansas Saturday afternoon! Willie went undeated until the finals and his opponent had to beat him twice to win the tournament. After Willie lost the first match, which was the best finals match I've ever witnessed 290 to 277. He won the next match 267 to 258 to win his first ASSBT title! It was the highest scoring finals match for the ASSBT and Willie used a Gladiator Solid! Willie Wells beat Jim Kruse in the finals and Jim's last four games were 300, 268, 290, 258 for a 1116 four game total. Willie stepped up and performed and it was exciting to watch!! Great job Willie!!!
