Very nice! I see that the Japanese Visionary guy posted a Crow video as well. The ball looks like it rolls great!

Anyone with a smooth release is going to enjoy this ball. Stronger than anticipated, but still very very rolly

2 weeks in using the crow. On my normal house shot, there prob is too much volume to use it on a regular basis unless you can play a straighter shot up the outsides.
BUT
Summer in ohio is hot and humid, and my center is stingy with the AC which leads to quick breakdowns. Was able to use the crow games 2 and 3 the last 2 weeks. Stronger than anticipated yet super super smooth.
There was some talk that with the aggressive core the ball might flare quick then puke out. This is not the case at all. What you see in the video is what you get on the lanes. I would compare this ball to the Powder Blue Hammer in reaction, and that was my favorite Hammer of all time.

IMO it would be closer to the Red Sorcerer and Jason confirmed it is a close match to the RS cover stock but slightly stronger.
JD how does it compare to your BTU? I believe you have both that would be good info.

Crow is standard 3 3/8 drill, which I put on a lot of urethanes. BTU is 5" pin up. BTU is a little stronger about 2 boards, but I mean to tell you don't sleep on the crow and how much it can hook, now it does have the early read of urethane but it also will corner some on the back.
To me the BTU is to close to reactive for my liking, similar to the burgandy hammer remake just not as early.

It def has more overall hook than the blue hammer.. the ball motion is similar that's what I was trying to convey.

Last night I was playing 18 at the arrows out to 10 at the break point. So about 6/7 boards left of the line I was using in the video.

I've used this ball for two weeks in league and one practice session so far. Wow. As others have reported, very strong and very even. Hits great and definitely does not quit. 726 and 705 so far. Was thinking of using my Raven Invasion last night, but after two practice shots with back-to-back solid 8's (I'm a lefty), thought "Nah. Let's do the Crow again." Shot was drying out a bit in the third game, and the ball came up high for a split. Tried moving in a bit for the next shot, but left a pocket 7-10. Went back to the original line and added a bit of speed. Back solid in the pocket. I normally can't do that with reactives, as I just can't throw hard enough to get any "push" once the shot starts to burn, but no problem with the Crow. Next time I'll know. Still remembering what it's like to throw non-reactive, and loving it.

They use the Judge From Genesis bowling and the Crow from visionary and they throw both and also compare the 2 so you can really see a contrast in reactions from what is supposed to be old school urethane in the Judge, and the Crow which seems to be different than old school urethane kinda like visionary says.

Yup, the differences in the cores between these two balls are HUGE.
It makes the comparison almost invalid. If they had the same coverstock, it would show the difference between the cores well. Since they're comparing 2 completely different balls, it make little sense.

One thing I will say about the Crow, outside of how well the ball rolls for me and can turn the corner.....the oil stays on the surface of the ball. After last week I changed the surface of my Crow to 4000 abralon, no polish because the 500 out of box was just wayyyyyyy too much and it is still too much, but so is everything else. I opened my bag this morning after using the Crow in practice for league last night (4 or 5 shots) and the first half of the first game (6 frame) I put the Crow away in favor of my Green Blue Centaur (yes, that dry for league). So with roughly 10 shots, the ball kept enough oil on the surface that I could clearly see my track on the ball this morning, 14+ hours after using it in league last night.
Old School urethane stuff right there.

Agreed, oil stays on the ball. Compared to the Fanantic BTU, BTU absorbs oil as a fast as most reactives, not including the heavy oilers. Black Hammer from EBI also keeps oil on the ball..
