Ogre Pearl users, have you plug and re-drilled one?
« on: June 19, 2008, 09:56:00 PM »
Has anyone noticed a considerabel reduction in hitting power, when you plugged and re-drilled an Ogre Pearl?

Just let me know, yes or no, if you have plugged and redrilled one?

Mine has reduced hitting power. I'm just trying to make sure that it's because I just picked a 2nd bad drilling and it's my drilling choice that's to blame and not the ball. Sometimes, it happens that way, not too often with me, but it does happen.

Thanks.

It should be either the layout or the surface. Plugging the ball shouldnt effect the hitting power.
Try a surface change and see what happens, I notice with mine (for me ) if i use 2000 or 4000 abralon with no polish it doesnt hit as good as when i use 800-1000 and then polish ?
