I am looking into the Ogre line of balls.  

I am a Tweener with a Medium Ball Speed.  I'm going to 14lbs to pick up a little speed, but the question I have is that how much difference will I see with each cover/finish in the Ogre series?

My Brunswick equipment are drilled with the Pin right above the ring finger for a longer roll as I like to keep it between the 3-15 boards. The covers of my polished and sanded balls work well enough, but the balls are a bit dated.

I am a very accurate player and I don't like to swing it out and use the Adult Bumpers to bring it back to the pocket and am looking for a set of balls to keep me in the space I like to throw it no matter the conditions.

What can anyone tell me about these balls?

If this is true, then you should like the Ogre solid and pearl. The SS is more of the swing it and bring it type. Coverstocks are very adjustable. Balls generally keepe the pins low, like many Vis balls. This way they knock over other pins instead of ONLY impressing onlookers with how much pins fly around BUT leave other pins standing.

Not necessarily Jeff.  If you weak drill <5.25" pin to PAP pin over bridge CG directly below mid grip line> an SS like I did I can move on most lane conditions 2-3 boards back to the right with my feet keep the same trajectory or right of it and keep striking.  For me it's not like the Greenie...same drill.  Ogre core with lower differential gives it a different look Predator covers seem weaker than whatever was on the Greenie or I am guessing same type of pearl reactive cover like the G-3.

I was talking in general. Still the SS is designed as a skid/flip ball. Many can be forced to be more arc-like.

Regarding cover strength, I'm finding the Ogre solid to be much stronger than I originally suspected. My original drill, a strong one, plus minor surface changes made the ball seem weak even on true medium oil on a slippery surface. Only when I weakened the drill plus took the darn thing as far as I could, 4000 grit, did I get the ball to concerve enough energy. ALthough I have yet to try the Ogre pearl (black and purple), it is supposed to be the same base plus pearlized. I suspect it will also need a weak pin, for me anyway.

I have my SS at 4000 and I still have to swing it and bring it.  Compared to my Greenie, it handles a little more oil and start up a little sooner and just a touch smoother on the backend than my Greenie.  The drillings are very similar layout wise.  

As far as the Ogre line, you should see a decent enough difference in each Ogre to be able to play ALOT of conditions.  I have heard that the Solid OOB is very strong for heavier conditions, the Ogre Pearl is a benchmark for medium conditions, and the SS is designed for length and backend for lighter conditions.  Add to those a Centaur and something like a Immortal Solid and you would have a fairly complete arsenal.
