Ball is marked as blem and i see why....Gargoyle engraving is under the Gargoyle. Big deal!! Sweet ball and sweet deal.

Usually Visionary would engrave the word BLEM under the serial number. Don't see that on the Gargoyle. I thought all Gargoyle engravings were like that?
-
Also, they usually stamped BLEM on the box, like in the Immortal pictures, both box and ball are marked BLEM.
The Violet Gargoyle is not marked that way either on the box or ball. I suspect it is a first quality ball, not a blem like the listing says.
-
Agree Gary, but not sure. I would have to look at mine sitting in the closet to know for sure.
-
Look at the pictures of that Green Gargoyle.
-
Just looked at my Slate Blue Gargoyle. The Gargoyle image and lettering looks the same.
-
I don't believe that Violet Gargoyle is a blem. Every Visionary ball I ever had that was a blem was clearly engraved under the serial number. If it was a NIB, the box was clearly labeled as well. Just punched up an Immortal Solid and I'm loving how that high-flaring beast rolls!

BUT
99% of Visionary's blems are the rest of the world's first quality.
I have 4 different Visionary's balls stamped with the word "BLEM" on them and not any pro shop driller, to whom I have brought them, can tell why any one of them are so marked.

Jeff, I agree. I have bought quite a few of Visionary's blem balls and have not been able to tell why they are blems except for a couple that had either color mixtures (phasing) or engraving error, and the clear plastic ones from Korea that had particles floating in them. I will not hesitate to buy one of their blems if I am looking for one of their balls.
I was just commenting on the Violet Gargoyle being listed as a Blem, but I don't see the normal VBP blem markings on either the ball or box. I think the seller mistakenly listed that ball as a blem.
