Never had any success with that ball. One of the few visionary balls, other than the z spinners, that I didn’t like.

If I remember correctly, it was supposed to be better for difficult conditions rather than a THS.

Correct the PIE was for flatter patterns medium volume with head oil. It was a control ball for tougher patterns. When I used mine I didn't cover boards might swing 3 at the most. The particle cover made it slow down enough to play straighter as a righty. On tough conditions it was great and house walls not so much there were better Visionary options for that kind of play.

Man this would be a great ball to have and use.

It’s a damn shame that nobody bought this brand and is still making this awesome equipment. I even liked some of the Z spin stuff, Mixed Breed Crossover and Solid were fantastic for me.

The best urethane pearl ball in the world still might be the Slate Blue Gargoyle. It certainly was until the Purple Hammer and UC3 came out, at least.
Visionary made some of the most durable and innovative equipment ever. Beautiful pours, too.
