OGRES ?
« on: September 10, 2007, 03:12:25 PM »
I currently have a Thunderstruck solid drilled 4 1/2 x 60 degress with the pin just above the ring finger, but the ball is just too much for the house shot I am playing on.  I was looking at the purple/black ogre pearl and the SS as a step down.  I want something that will give me control as well as predictability on a THS.  I also throw 14 lbs.

I'll let someone else give you a definitive answer, but have you checked into the Green/Blue Centaur?

Edited to add:
I also read your post in the Misc forum where you said it was for medium to light oil with control and an arc, so that is where I am basing my reply from.

Yeah I would rather have an arc than skid snap.

Thats the one thing that surprised me about the purple black ogre is that how easily it got down lane but then how easily the break point was arcy and not snappy
