gonna try visionary

Well after talking with my ball driller. I want to try something new for the upcoming season. So we talked about the Visionary line. I have been a loyal Lane1 user. I throw high revs and between 16.5-18 mph depending on my mood. So what balls should I look at? Want something for all conditions.

well, it's hard to find a ball that will work on all conditions.
In the Vissionary lines, Ogre Solid, Ogre Pearl are very versatile and take well to coverstock changes. Gladiator Solid is a very smooth ball with strong hit and a versatile coverstock.

In all seriousness, are you a troll?
Nothing, there is not one ball made today that will work on all conditions. Even Earl Anthony couldn't do that. Today, I'd dare to say that neither Norm Duke nor Chris Barnes, possibly the 2 most versatile bowlers on the PBA tour today, can do it.

If you said, "I want 3 - 4 balls to cover most conditions.", that would be something else.

Care to rephrase that?

I read 'So what balls should I look at?' as meaning he wanted an arsenal, but I have been wrong many times in the past, or so I am constantly being reminded.

As a high rev player myself and a pretty loyal user of VBP, here is what I would recommend:

HEAVY:  Frankie May Gryphon
MEDIUM HEAVY:  Gladiator Solid
MEDIUM:  Ogre Pearl
MEDIUM LIGHT:  Ogre SS
LIGHT:  Blue/Green Centaur

That will give you just about everything you need.  If you are looking into a complete arsenal, look into the Test Membership from the VBP website.  You get the best package for $500 which includes 4 balls, a roller bag, and free shipping to your door.

Charlest, if I just wanted 1 ball I would of said what ball should I get for all conditions and not what balls. So thanks for all the info from all.

I was a long time Lane #1 user and wanted to try something new but not "mainstream"  I was very impressed at what VBP had.  I love their equipment and their staff is amazing.  You won't be sorry!!!!

If you were to limit it to one ball, I would have to say the Ogre Pearl.  However, if you want to open it up to a couple, you really can't go wrong with the Gladiator combination and toss in a Ogre Pearl.

I haven't tried the Ogre Particle....but that's soon to change.
