Title: Granite for wife?

My wife has been complaining about wanting a more aggressive ball.  She doesn't like to play outside of 5, which she has to during her mixed league if there is a bunch of carrydown.  


4 1/2, 1 1/2 up pap
250ish revs
14.5 mph by quibica

Currently in the bag:

Nemesis drilled 3 x 3, 800 grit finish
OI  4 x 3, oob
dry/r
snuffy

I don't know if she likes the looks of it...thats important to women ya know.  But, it would certainly hook more than the nemi.

Why not drill her something like a wrath XP or even a Action max

how about the new mammoth?  Its a good looking ball.. I think it will be similar to the raging inferno...

The product sheet makes comparisons to the Swamp Monster and the Goliath.  I think the Raging Inferno didn't have as high as a particle load as the Mammoth is going to have...

Andrew,

With her ball speed and the Granite's VERY agressive cover, while it will hook more, it will hook ONLY if there's a lot of oil. PLUS, from a woman's perspective, that ball gets diry by looking at it crosseyed. She may not like it.

Also you may need to polish it and it will still hook earlier than the Nemesis.

Be careful about getting aggressive covers for low speed bowlers. I'm not saying don't do it; just be careful.
