Title: Hatchling sighting!!!!!
Post by: gsback on December 08, 2009, 04:20:39 AM
All I can say is WOW!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250544776106

I liked the Gargoyle clear ball, but this really takes the cake!!

I swore off spare balls.....but I might be tempted to get one just for show on my desk at home!

On edit.....some of the other pics I didn''t even see in the auction!!

Considering what people are willing to pay for the Gargoyle now as it is on eBay....and those aren't even limited production.

I'm thinking the people at 2nd gen may have found a nice little niche with this ball!!

Yep, I look at a ball being a tool while others look at it as a collector's item.  When you can purchase an Ice Storm a harder poly ball for spares for a reasonable price I wouldn't even think twice.

I will give you $50 bucks for it...

Come on G cut your old buddy a break.. I need a ball that guarantees me an honor score or two.. You need to start weeding out some of the stuff you have anyway..

Sorry Jim, this ball is a little out of date for you.....couple years old I believe and a 'lineup' that's not modern enough for you.  Nope.....will hold on to it...eventually drill it....and maybe throw 300 with it too.

Balls seem to have sold pretty well for the first 3 out there.  14lb went for $130.50, 15lb went for $165.16 and the 16lb went for $137.50.

That's not bad at all!!

My teammate won the 15lb, I'm curious to see what this thing looks like in person.  Looks a bit "busy" with the pictures on ebay.

Great for Josh but since the rest of us are just Visonites.  Who cares?

As a spare making ball you can buy one of the hardest spare making balls out there an Ice Storm for the $60 range why would you pay another $40 and up range?  Stupidity!

Unless you are a collector you are an idiot.  JMO!

This ball looks good, better than what the pictures show, at least to me.  If anyone was wondering, if you get it drilled up, the holes will go into the bottom side of the nest, so you'll still have a good view of the hatchlings.
