I know there are a lot of us out there that like to reload during the summer getting ready for the new fall season. My question is what new equipment did you get and how do you have it setup? Second, how do you like how it performs?

Here's my new lineup:

Scorcher - Drilled axis leverage. CG is very near my PAP with the pin right at 4" from PAP. There is a fairly large weight hole to bring back to A specs. Was looking for a flood ball and baby this is it!!!

Granite Gargoyle - Went 3 3/8 stacked leverage on this and should fit well during the later games of a flooded set. Also a very tunable cover.

Green Gargoyle - Pin centered above the finger holes CG kicked out about a 1/2 inch. Shined up this ball is a great drier condition ball for me.

Burgundy Gryphon - Drilled this up 1/2 leverage. 4 1/2 X 5. Brand new and so far I really like the look this ball gives me. I've played several different houses and several different shots practicing. Gets ok length for me and I like the move to the pocket. Hit is very good. Had a tendency to leave a few more rock 8's than I'd like seeing but adjusting the entry angle seems to clear this up.

Blue Sparkle Gryphon - The ball I've wanted to play the most is the one I've got to play with the least. Drilled 3 3/8 X 4 I've yet to really find a shot I can really see what this critter can do. My son, (with the hand!) tried it and fell in love with the reaction it gave him. Very strong on the backend but not as snappy as his Vendetta. I'm waiting for a condition where the heads are a little lighter than I'm used to seeing around here and some clean backends.

Dropped all my Executioners this season. Good balls but, myself I really like the look the Gargoyles give me, still two of my all time favorites. Also really liked the specs and the reviews I've read on the Gryphons and so far I've not been disappointed.

Anyone else sad that the Orange Warlock and the Red Sorcerer have gone by the wayside? Liked them both but really liked the Sorcerer for a fresh league shot on wood.

Those and my trusty Red Amulet round out my six for the new season.

I'll tell you what I have

1. DC Tour drilled Stacked Leverage
2. DC Tour drilled Stacked pin abve and right of the ring finger
3. DC warlock drilled 10:30 pin above the bridge
4. Midnight Schorcher, drilled 11:30 pin right of the middle finger
5. Charcol ex drilled label leverage
6. DC Tour undrilled
7. Gryphon Sold Didn't really like it, I might trty the burgandy

For leagues I carry #2, #3, and #5(if i want to experiment)
For tournaments I carry #2,#3, #4, #5

there is also a pro purple, and a viper that fit in there

From what i seen throwing the ball in nationals the executioner series is a good tournament ball. i'm going to St. Louis this weekend, so i might have to pick up something.

MAN I wish my girlfriend didn't live in St. Louis, because each time I go, I find myself over at Visionary
