Yes it is.  I have rolled one.  The pic on their site is pretty accurate.

It has the same cover as the Frankie May, which I have so I got to compare them side by side.  With the Immortal having a slightly stronger layout, it was a few feet earlier and had that soft, continuous roll through the pins.  The Frankie is a few feet longer and a little stronger on the backend.  They both roll really good, especially for someone with a high rev rate, which you would not think with high diff numbers and higher flare potentials.

I've got the Frankie.
From your comparison it sounds like they cover the same conditions.
I guess I'll just keep sending Visionary emails to bring back the Charcoal Ex.

Personally...I think the Immortal will do for the strokers what the Frankie will do for the tweeners.  It will cover the same lane conditions simply because the cover is the same.  Consider the Immortal a Frankie on roids.
