I have seen many of the members of this board who roll Lane #1 balls referring to themselves and members of the Fellowship of the Saw(s). I think that is a very cool idea! Why can't we Visionary bowlers have our own little club? I haven't thought a lot about this but what about the Gods of Thunder? I know Storm uses a lightning bolt but it was just a thought. Anyone else got any ideas?

Current Arsenal:
Charcoal Executioner
Crimson Executioner
Purple Ice Executioner
Bronze Centaur AMB Pearl
Green Gargoyle
Glowing Amulet
I was born on Olympus
To my father a son
I was raised by the demons
Trained to reign as the one -
GOD OF THUNDER!!!

How about Midevil Order/Organization of Bowlers so M.O.B. since Visionary uses all midevil themes for names??
-
That's true.... so we just change it to Mythical instead.

I guess that was my thinking with Gods of Thunder. Zeus could unleash the Gryphons & Gargoyles, the Warlocks & Executioners. Sacred Amulets & Immortals. They all go kinda hand in hand. When it's time to strike, the gods of thunder can choose their weapon... G.O.T. Visionary

What if Sprint called themselves "Not-AT&T"? In a few years, people would say, what's an "AT&T"??

I have no idea what you're talking about.
Do you mean "middle Evil"
or
"medieval", as in "Relating or belonging to the Middle Ages"???

I think charlest would be insulted you consider him part of Brunswick Nation.

Damned right! I am not a bigot and I am not prejudiced.
Besides, no one answered my question yet. WHat the heck is this discussion about anyway? Bowling balls or egos?

spreading his wisdom.

Why, do I need a passport? am I not allowed?
I don't understand your question.
Not as if I have to justify it or not, but over the years I have owned one heck of lot of Visionary balls; still own and regularly use a few of them. Does it make any difference, whether I brag about it or not? Or do I have to be "accepted" here?

The NOB was a joke....
--------------------
Brunswick,Lane#1,Morich,Hammer,Ebonite,Columbia,AMF,Storm,RotoGrip......they all leave ten pins, I swear after I try dynothane and lanemaster if the ten pins still there I might begin to think it might just be
me...... (finally decided to add a signature)
Sorry, Mycroft.
FWIW I think your Visionary society should have a good & meanngful name. I think Visionary is as deserving of devotion as Lane#1, sometimes more so. The Visionary people (the manufacturers) seem to be real, honest-to-goodness bowling people. The Visionary people/users here at ballreviews mostly give me that same feeling.

I don't feel the need to refer myself as anything but me. Of course, I am not from the "me" generation.
I do use some Visionary and belong to the test staff. But, I also use any equipment that will do the job. I own Track, Storm, Roto, Lanemasters/Legends and they all have their niche. I don't believe just one ball mfg. can offer everything. I do believe Visionary has some of the best reactive pearlized balls out there.
BTW--for those that don't understand Jeff's aka charlest answers to some posts here. Jeff tends to be very direct which I appreciate doesn't candy coat it. Most that have been on BR since 2001-2002 understand that he knows a lot about equipment and has NO allegiance to any mfg. I find that refreshing instead of being some manufacturers shill which I feel many have become.

"I don't believe just one ball mfg. can offer everything"
the executioner line has been the one line (for me at least) that has been able to cover everything. LAst time I had a ball line like that was the Rhino's
